Barbara Rothenstein is executive vice president for global finance and operations. A founding member of Protiviti, Rothenstein is responsible for the operational areas of finance, technology, business processes, acquisition integration, and the management of the firm’s office operations and real estate around the world. She also leads Protiviti’s global sustainability initiative and serves on the firm’s diversity and inclusion steering committee.
Based in Protiviti’s New York office, Rothenstein joined Protiviti from Arthur Andersen. She holds an MBA from New York University and a BA and MA in comparative literature from Northwestern University and University of Chicago, respectively. She is a CPA and certified Project Management Professional. In 2013, Rothenstein was recognized by Consulting magazine as one of the Women Leaders in Consulting. She has served on the board of Girls Inc. Westchester (NY) and currently volunteers as a member of its finance committee. Girls Inc. Westchester is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing girls-only programs to inspire girls to grow up Strong, Smart and Bold.
