I was recently reading an interview with Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, and something he said really struck me:
“Since buying the team, I have always considered myself a custodian of a public asset.”
That word, custodian, has been echoing in my head ever since. Someone recently asked me how seriously I take my job, and how important JGO really is to me. The truth is, I see myself the same way, not as the owner of anything, but as the custodian of something sacred: the Jewish grad student community across North America.
Thanks to you, we get to bring Jewish life where it’s needed most: on grad campuses. Together we’re creating classic Jewish life experiences, investing in student leadership, standing up against antisemitism, connecting students with mentors, and building deep, proud Jewish connection.
You’ve given us the privilege of this custodianship, and I don’t take that lightly.
With that spirit, I’m proud to share our JGO Annual Impact Report which is a snapshot of what we’ve built together this past year. I’d love for you to take a look and share your thoughts!
