Jewish Grad Organization Hosts Largest-Ever Partners Summit in Washington, D.C., 2025

WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 2025) – More than 200 Jewish graduate student leaders, organizational leaders, and partners from across North America gathered in Washington, D.C. on September 14-15, 2025 for the Jewish Grad Organization’s (JGO) annual Miller Family Partners Summit, marking the organization’s largest and most impactful leadership training conclave to date.

The Partners Summit is JGO’s signature student leadership convention and the only national conference exclusively for Jewish graduate students. It has become a cornerstone of JGO’s mission to empower Jewish graduate students with the skills, connections, and confidence to lead vibrant Jewish communities on campuses across the continent. Attendance has doubled in the last two years, reflecting JGO’s expanding reach and impact.

Over two days at Hotel Washington, delegates participated in interactive workshops, strategic discussions, and keynote sessions focused on challenges and opportunities in Jewish campus life. Topics included combating antisemitism, best practices for grassroots leadership, building inclusive communities, and strengthening Jewish identity.

Presenting partner organizations included ADL, AJC, Brandeis Center, Secure Community Network, and Jewish Future Promise, enhancing the programming through direct training and networking.

In addition to these sessions, a select delegation of student leaders traveled to Capitol Hill to share their unique experiences of antisemitism on campus as graduate students and advocate for their communities. Meeting with a bipartisan group of lawmakers, including the offices of House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), and Higher Education Subcommittee Chair Rep. Burgess Owens (R-UT), students elevated the voice of Jewish graduate communities and demonstrated the brave leadership they are bringing back to their universities. Delegates capped the day with dinner at the House with the support of Congressional Jewish Caucus members Reps. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) and Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL).

“The JGO Summit in Washington, D.C. was an empowering and inspiring experience,” said MBA student Dovid Magna, President of Jewish Business Students Association (JBSA) at UCLA Anderson. “It was incredible to learn from and collaborate with fellow Jewish students to promote unity, dialogue, and plan for the future of the Jewish graduate student community.”

Natalie Freilich, Vice President of the JBSA at Fordham University Gabelli School of Business, who participated in a pitch session with Jewish executives during the Summit, added: “The Partners Summit was an incredible opportunity to come together as a community with Jewish graduate students from across the country. I was able to build meaningful new connections, reflect on my responsibilities as a Jewish leader, and gain deeper insight into the Jewish experience on different campuses—all while having a great time.”

Students left the Summit with concrete action plans to expand Jewish programming, build coalitions against antisemitism, and strengthen Jewish pride among their peers. For many, the Summit served as both a catalyst and a roadmap, equipping them with the tools to launch new initiatives that will shape Jewish life on their campuses throughout the year.

“Our commitment to empowering the next generation of Jewish leaders has never been stronger,” said Rabbi Dave Sorani, CEO of JGO. “When you bring together hundreds of passionate Jewish student leaders, you do not just inspire them for a weekend. You equip them to make real change on their campuses. These students are the future of Jewish life in North America, and the momentum created here will ripple across campuses all year long.”

The JGO Partners Summit is sponsored by Adam Miller and Family.
