Josh Silverman is President of Global Products & Experiences at Paramount, a Skydance Corporation, where he drives growth for the company by extending Paramount’s iconic brands and storytelling into global consumer ecosystems. In this role, Silverman leads worldwide consumer products, publishing, location-based entertainment and live experiences. He also oversees creative strategy, business development, retail and retail marketing and ecommerce.

Prior to joining Paramount, Silverman served as Chief Franchise Officer at Mattel overseeing franchise management, consumer products, publishing, live and location-based entertainment, digital games and Mattel Television Studios. During his tenure, he expanded Mattel’s franchise businesses spearheading more than 165 partnerships and retail tie-ins for the Barbie movie, and led experiences including the World of Barbie traveling exhibit, Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live and Mattel Adventure Parks.

Previously, Silverman held senior leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company and Marvel Entertainment. At Disney, he led global consumer products licensing and third-party commercialization, contributing to retail sales growth from $37.5 billion to $54 billion over a decade. His responsibilities included oversight of The Disney Store and commercialization for Disney Interactive and Disney Publishing. At Marvel, he led global business development, strategy and brand management, structuring key partnerships and guiding franchise growth following Disney’s acquisition of the company.
Silverman holds a bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College and a law degree from Brooklyn Law School.
