Andrew Schiffrin has over 20 years of experience investing in public equity markets. He currently focuses on event-driven investments—including mergers, spin-offs, and other corporate events—at a New York–based investment firm.

Previously, Andrew managed stock portfolios focused on industrial and cyclical companies at firms including Balyasny Asset Management, Schonfeld Strategic Advisors, and S.A.C. Capital.

Andrew began investing professionally at York Capital, where he became Co-Portfolio Manager of York Global Value. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banker at Bear Stearns after working as a corporate lawyer at Cravath, Swaine & Moore. He holds a JD, cum laude, from New York University School of Law and a BS from McGill University.
