Rachel Teller is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Winstar Properties, a vertically integrated real estate company focused on multifamily assets in Southern California, primarily in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. She is also a founding member of Winstar’s management platform.

Under Rachel’s leadership, the firm’s portfolio has more than quadrupled in both size and value. She has personally overseen more than $500 million in value-add real estate projects, all of which have exceeded underwriting expectations.

In addition to driving portfolio growth, Rachel plays a central role in capital formation, working closely with a diverse investor base that includes high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional partners. As COO, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the Winstar portfolio, including asset renovations and project management, budget analysis and forecasting, internal and external financial reporting, investor relations, vendor management, technology and database systems, human resources, banking and insurance matters, legal coordination, asset management, and leadership of the firm’s management team.

Rachel graduated cum laude from the Yeshiva University Sy Syms School of Business, earning Dean’s List honors every year. With a background in statistical analysis and a reputation for organization, structure, and execution, she has consistently driven improvements in property performance and long-term asset value.

Her leadership and impact have been widely recognized. In 2018, Rachel was named one of the Institute of Real Estate Management’s (IREM) “30 Under 30” exceptional young professionals nationwide. In 2017, she was selected to attend the highly competitive, invite-only Forbes 30 Under 30 International Summit in Tel Aviv, Israel. She was also nominated by the Los Angeles Business Journal for its Women’s Summit honors in both “Rising Star” and “Executive of the Year” categories.
