
Carolyn grew up in Pottstown, Pennsylvania as the daughter of Iranian immigrants and now lives in Los Angeles. Her career has centered on expanding opportunity and strengthening mission-driven organizations. She began as a transactional real estate lawyer in private practice and later served as Executive Director and Board Member of the Neuromuscular Disease Foundation and as founding Board Chair of the New Los Angeles Charter School.
She is also the co-founder of HopSkipDrive, the nation’s leading supplemental student transportation provider, supporting more than 13,500 schools across 17 states. In roles including Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel, and Head of People, she built the systems, teams, and culture that enabled rapid growth while maintaining an unwavering focus on safety and care. Today she partners with leaders across sectors to bring new ideas to life and to navigate complex strategic and operational challenges. She is a Board Member of Tivnu: Building Justice.
Carolyn holds a BA from UC Berkeley and a JD from UCLA School of Law.
