Ellie Perlman is the epitome of The American Dream. Ellie is the founder and CEO of Blue Lake Capital, a $1B private equity real estate firm in Los Angeles that has been recognized as one of The America’s Fastest Growing Companies of 2024 by Financial Times and as one of Inc 5000's Fastest Growing Companies in the US of 2023. Blue Lake’s success, driven by Ellie Perlman, is an inspiration to many. But what many people don’t know, are Ellie’s humble beginnings in Israel that started her drive in the first place:

At only 9 years old, Ellie began cleaning synagogues to help support her family. As she got older, she realized what was happening and wanted more for herself. She had a burning desire to break the poverty chain. She faced MANY obstacles along the way, including more poverty, a struggling marriage that eventually led to divorce, and a rare disease that left her nearly blind. 

Ellie has since immigrated to the U.S. and holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, and a Bachelor’s and a Masters in Law from Bar-Ilan University in Israel. Ellie is a Forbes author on real estate investing, the host of the podcast “REady2Scale - Real Estate Investing”, and the author of The Ultimate Guide to Creating & Preserving Your Wealth.
