
Stephen Rosenthal is the President of the CMO, The Care Management Company, a wholly owned, for-profit subsidiary of the Montefiore Health System as well as Senior Vice President, Population Health Management, for Montefiore's integrated delivery system. Mr. Rosenthal has worked in the Montefiore system for over 25 years and was part of the strategic team that originated and organized the CMO. Prior to his current position, Mr. Rosenthal served as Vice President of Montefiore's Professional Services, where he developed and managed Montefiore's faculty practice of over 1,000 employed physicians. He was responsible for organizing Montefiore's 23 clinical academic departments into a successful facility practice plan and played an important role in the restructuring of the medical center into an integrated delivery system. Mr. Rosenthal has grown Montefiore's integrated delivery system to a network of over 5,000 physicians, primary care providers, a home health agency, rehabilitation facility and eight acute-care hospitals. He holds a Master's Degree in Science as well as a Master's of Business Administration in Finance and Management Information Systems, from Brooklyn College and Pace University, respectively. He is also an Associate in the Department of Epidemiology and Social Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
