
Sara Sirotzky is a Managing Director at Marsh, the insurance brokerage and risk advisor subsidiary of Marsh McLennan Companies.
Sara holds an MBA from Northwestern University (Kellogg) and an MS in Financial Markets and Trading from Illinois Institute of Technology.
Sara is a Senior Client Executive who oversees several teams to identify, analyze, and craft solutions to address clients' strategic, operational, financial, and hazard risks. To understand and mitigate risk exposures, Sara travels with her clients in and outside the U.S.
Sara joined Marsh in Peru, her country of birth. Because of her Global Enterprise Risk Management expertise, Sara was invited to join Marsh in Chicago. During her extensive career with the organization, Sara has served in multiple senior roles including leading a Financial Analyst Unit and becoming the first Central Region Manufacturing Practice Leader.
She has received numerous awards for service excellence and business growth including consecutive"Top Performer" awards. Sara received the Global Power Broker Award from Risk & Insurance Magazine. In 2018, Sara received the Winner President's Award and in 2020 the CEO award.
In 2019, Sara was featured in Crains as one of the most notable women over 50.
Several years ago, Sara created and launched the annual Chicago Business Leaders luncheon. The luncheon features a panel discussion on timely topics with prominent speakers. It attracts around 200 guests. It is held at The Chicago Club.
Sara also created and launched Executives Leaders in Transition Exchange (ELITE). She severs on the ELITE board.
Sara is a member of The Chicago Club, The Economic Club of Chicago, The Chicago Network, International Women's Forum, and The Chicago Finance Exchange.
Sara has attended several of the Fortune Magazine Most Powerful Women (MPW) events in the USA and outside the USA including Summits in Laguna Niguel and Washington DC.
Sara is the author of Red Rose and Blue Butterfly. Sara loves to run and has completed 13 marathons.
In January 2022, Sara was invited to share her success story with Marsh's Senior Client Executives and Sales Leaders from across the USA in a virtual setting.. The event attracted over 300 leaders.
