
David Rosenblum is Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Hanmi Financial (Nasdaq: HAFC) and its subsidiary Hanmi Bank. His experience includes chairing the Risk, Compliance & Planning Committee and serving as Vice Chair of the Audit Committee for HAFC. Mr. Rosenblum is also a partner in Sage Partners LLC and an operating partner at Interlock Equity. Until his retirement in May 2013, he was a senior leader and board member of Deloitte Consulting LLP, a $5.2 billion professional services firm with operations in the US, Mexico and India.
From 2010 to 2013, while serving as National Managing Director of Consulting Corporate Development, Mr. Rosenblum established and led Deloitte Consulting's first formal corporate development function. From a standing start, he built a team that established acquisition priorities, screened over 200 potential transactions, closed nine acquisitions and one divestiture, and drove successful integration of businesses that added $525 million in revenue to Deloitte Consulting during its 2014 fiscal year.
From 2004 to 2010, Mr. Rosenblum held a number of general management roles in Deloitte Consulting's Strategy & Operations (S&O) business, including Chief Operating Officer and interim National Managing Director. During this period, Mr. Rosenblum also led the redesign and implementation of a new performance management system for Deloitte Consulting's entire principal/director population.
Over his nearly 34 year career with Deloitte Consulting, Mr. Rosenblum advised clients in a wide range of industries, particularly health care and financial services, on issues related to strategy, M&A, divestitures/restructurings and financial management. His experience includes serving as interim Chief Financial Officer for a major client. He has significant international experience, with a particular focus on India and Mexico.
In addition to serving on the board of Hanmi Financial, Mr. Rosenblum is currently a partner in Sage Partners LLC, an operating partner of Interlock Equity and member of the Board of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. He is a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy, The California Club, and the Corporate Directors Roundtable of Orange County. He is Chair-Emeritus of the National Association of Corporate Directors Pacific Southwest Chapter. He previously served as Chairman of the Echo Foundation, as a member of the Board of Directors of Deloitte Consulting LLP and as a Trustee of Wesleyan University.
Mr. Rosenblum received a BA in Economics from Wesleyan, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from Wharton. Prior to joining Deloitte Consulting in 1979, he was a Financial Analyst with Ford Motor Company.
