Sarah is passionate about giving an environmental and socially conscious edge to her Real Estate experience. She was selected as a NextGen to watch in the 2021 issue of Family Business Magazine and currently serves on the board of the Dominguez Dream. Although she received her Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences with a background of Environmental Volunteer work, she seeks to apply her analytical skills from STEM and environmental passion to LEED certified Real Estate development. Currently, she is focusing on adding a development branch to her family business Auerbach Commercial Realty, with a brand focusing on LEED certified Senior Housing.

Sarah received her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth, with concentrations in Finance, Economics, and Strategic Management. She then went on to receive her Master of Real Estate Development from USC. After working for outside companies, she has returned to the family Business as Controller on the brink of the Pandemic.

Since re-joining Auerbach Commercial Realty Corp., now as Controller, Sarah has helped her family business survive the pandemic by bringing multiple technology platforms into the company to enable the entire workforce to work from home, including Yardi and Argus. She trained the accounting staff and three interns on these technologies. She worked directly with the CFO and the company's real estate lenders in obtaining loan forbearance, reserving cash needs, and recirculating cash throughout the property portfolio.
