Gravitating towards leadership positions all his life, Mike graduated USC with a business degree and an emphasis in entrepreneurship.

In 1989, Mike joined apparel and footwear manufacturer, Cherokee, Inc. as their National Sales Administrator. In 1990, he took over Cherokee's small medical uniform division and in July 1995, completed the purchase of that business and formed Strategic Partners, now known as Careismatic Brands, Inc.  

Mike's passion has been to honor and celebrate the noble work that healthcare professionals perform every day. He created Scrubs Magazine, the nation's first lifestyle publication and website for nurses. He founded a national award program to celebrate the exceptional service, sacrifice and innovation of nurses, healthcare professionals and nursing students. Mike also created the Hospital Critterz characters and published a children's book for those affected by childhood illness.

Mike has further applied his creative and business savvy to a myriad of independent investments under Innocreative Capital. The LA-based investment firm has helped incubate and scale businesses in consumer/enterprise technology, health technology, renewable energy, apparel, consumer products and more.
