Barbara Miller is the President of the Barbara and Stephen Miller Foundation, a charitable foundation that serves as a safety net resource to those in need of one-time assistance when facing an unexpected financial burden that threatens their self-sufficiency. A speech/language pathologist by training, she founded and operated Allied Health Professionals, a leading provider of staffing services for physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and audiology therapists, which she ran for 24 years until selling it to a private equity group in 2010. She has also served on numerous non-profit boards, including as president of a faith-based organization. Currently, she is involved in various philanthropic and volunteer activities including working as a business mentor for SCORE, a division of the SBA that offers consulting services of retired executives like her to the business community, Executive Service Corps and Junior Achievement.
